Reeves Named Ivy League Rookie of the Week

PRINCETON, N.J. – Yale University freshman Ben Reeves (Macedon, N.Y.) was named the Ivy League men’s lacrosse Rookie of the Week on March 30.

The attackman continued his steady production for the Bulldogs this weekend, posting two goals, an assist and three ground balls in the 15-7 win over Penn on March 28.

The now three-time Ivy Rookie of the Week is the fifth-best rookie scorer in the country, averaging 3.13 points per game.

Conrad Oberbeck (Greenwich, Conn.) earned a spot on the weekly honor roll for his efforts in Philadelphia. The seventh leading scorer in program history scored five goals and added a helper as Yale grabbed its first Ivy win of the year.

The senior tops the team with 34 points, 24 goals and 10 assists, this season.

The Bulldogs (6-2, 1-2 Ivy), ranked No. 11 in the country, host Sacred Heart tomorrow night. The opening face-off is set for 7:00 p.m.
