Rob Pannell Joins Shootout for Soldiers, Wounded Warrior Project

Rob Pannell joins a slew of other top-notch players as a supporter of a 24 hour lacrosse game to benefit The Wounded Warrior Project. Pannell accompanies Kyle Hartzell, Paul Rabil, Steele Stanwick, Brian Farrell, Drew Westervelt, Eric Martin, and Jesse Schwartzman to name a few. “The Shootout for Soldiers is an awesome event benefiting a great cause,” said Pannell. “We are all able to enjoy our freedoms because of the men and women who protect us overseas, and I hope that the lacrosse community will rally behind this event.”

Support the cause June 14th and 15th at 9am. SFS will hold varying raffles on site to benefit the WWP that will feature signed gloves, helmets, and jerseys from a wide range of D1, D3 and MLL teams, as well as signed jerseys of local Baltimore athletes including Ray Lewis and Torrey Smith.

By the way, each ‘Like’ they receive on their Facebook page will be matched with $1. Watch the event’s newest promotional video by clicking here.

Lacrosse Playground

In 2009, Adam O’Neill, Harry Alford and Thomas Alford launched Lacrosse Playground as the preeminent site for lacrosse gearheads. For years Lacrosse Playground provided lacrosse fans with tutorials and tips on how to string a lacrosse head, up-close looks at the gear the top players used and sneak peeks at equipment and uniforms before they were released. More than 10 years and millions of visits later, Lacrosse Playground has relaunched with a focus on storytelling. Our mission is to provide comprehensive coverage of the latest lacrosse news, share insights into the sports betting and fantasy lacrosse world and showcase the lifestyles and personalities of the sport of lacrosse through articles, videos and podcasts.
