Lacrosse Playground
In 2009, Adam O’Neill, Harry Alford and Thomas Alford launched Lacrosse Playground as the preeminent site for lacrosse gearheads. For years Lacrosse Playground provided lacrosse fans with tutorials and tips on how to string a lacrosse head, up-close looks at the gear the top players used and sneak peeks at equipment and uniforms before they were released. More than 10 years and millions of visits later, Lacrosse Playground has relaunched with a focus on storytelling. Our mission is to provide comprehensive coverage of the latest lacrosse news, share insights into the sports betting and fantasy lacrosse world and showcase the lifestyles and personalities of the sport of lacrosse through articles, videos and podcasts.
i heard that nike/stx will be comin out with ones like this over the summer or in fall.
so where could you get one
Nike gives special cleats with chrome bottom plates for some of their professional athletes in the NFL. I think they did it first for Ladanian Tomlinson in 2007, so it’s been going on for a while. They are just applying that to lacrosse heads and got something super awesome out of it. Surprised they didn’t do it sooner. You also can’t just put a chrome layer on it b/c then it will chip. Nike has perfected it for their professional athletes to look good come Sundays. So school sponsored by STX will have some STX and Nike heads that are chromed out b/c STX is partnered with Nike.
Where are they getting these?!
