SCOUT’s Jersey Girl Collection to Benefit Sandy Relief Efforts Along Jersey Shore

GEORGETOWN, WASHINGTON DC, APRIL 2013 – SCOUT by Bungalow, a leading supplier of fashion and lifestyle bags, bins, insulated totes and travel accessories for consumers across the country is both proud and humbled to announce that proceeds from 2013 sales of a Jersey Girl tote or accessory case will go back to New Jersey’s efforts to rebuild shore areas devastated by superstorm Sandy.

Consumers can help SCOUT’s fundraising efforts by visiting a SCOUT retailer (www.bungalowco.com/t-retailer-locations.aspx) or going to www.bungalowco.com and purchasing the following Jersey Girl products: in bags, the Gameday, the Daytripper, the Totes-Ma-Goat, the Big Draw backpack, and the Play Girl Play; in accessories, the Crown Jewels, the Kate Wristlet, the Packin’ Heat, the Sally Go Lightly, the Tote-All Package, the Gidget, and the 3-Way Bag.

Of the idea for and execution of Jersey Girl sales, COO Tabitha Bowling notes, “SCOUT products have been used and enjoyed by beach goers up and down the eastern seaboard since 2005. With so many of our customers affected by this storm and the widespread devastation of the Jersey Shore, we saw an opportunity to do our part in helping to restore a national gem.”

The stores currently carrying SCOUT’s Jersey Girl collection include Jennifer’s Jewels (Woodcliff Lake), Onni (Stone Harbor), People People (Stone Harbor, Cape May), Pink Bungalow (Ridgewood, Upper Montclair), Quartet (Chatham), and the Teapot (Summit).

More than 10 years and millions of visits later, Lacrosse Playground has relaunched with a focus on storytelling. Our mission is to provide comprehensive coverage of the latest lacrosse news, share insights into the sports betting and fantasy lacrosse world and showcase the lifestyles and personalities of the sport of lacrosse through articles, videos and podcasts.
