Self-Published Video Games is Among the Best Industries for Starting a Business

Inc.com just announced a list of the top industries to be working in and self-published video games happens to be one of them. Carlo Sunseri is ahead of the game. In span of only one year Sunseri has created two popular lacrosse video games, College Lacrosse 2010 and NLL Lacrosse 2010.

The lacrosse world has been buzzing about both video games and judging by his industry’s direction it looks like we will see a lot more from Sunseri.

While the price tags of blockbuster video game titles have been steadily rising, the barriers to entry for small game developers have never been lower. Self-publishing through Apple’s iTunes app store as well as through Microsoft’s Xbox Live allows entrepreneurs and code geeks with a solid idea to elbow their way into this highly competitive field.

Lacrosse Playground

In 2009, Adam O’Neill, Harry Alford and Thomas Alford launched Lacrosse Playground as the preeminent site for lacrosse gearheads. For years Lacrosse Playground provided lacrosse fans with tutorials and tips on how to string a lacrosse head, up-close looks at the gear the top players used and sneak peeks at equipment and uniforms before they were released. More than 10 years and millions of visits later, Lacrosse Playground has relaunched with a focus on storytelling. Our mission is to provide comprehensive coverage of the latest lacrosse news, share insights into the sports betting and fantasy lacrosse world and showcase the lifestyles and personalities of the sport of lacrosse through articles, videos and podcasts.
