Shamrocks Release 2012 Schedule


WILKES-BARRE, PA (November 9, 2011)-The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Shamrocks have announced their schedule for their upcoming season at Mohegan Sun Arena.

The Shamrocks will have eight home games this season and will begin competing Thursday, January 19th against the Jacksonville Bullies. February 2nd and March 22nd the team will play the Hershey Haymakers. February 10th they will go up against the Kentucky Stickhorses, followed by a game on March 29th against the Charlotte Copperheads. The final regular season game will take place April 5th against the Kentucky Stickhorses.

“We are looking forward to hosting two friendly games against Team USA and Team Ireland as well as bringing NALL teams to the Wilkes-Barre area for our fans,” said Jim Jennings, president of the team. “Having 90 percent of our games on Thursdays is a benefit to us. In Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, Thursday nights are lacrosse nights.”

There will be two special games along with the NALL regular season games. The Shamrocks will play Team USA on February 16th and Team Ireland on March 15th. The semi-finals and championships will be held from April 27th through May 6th.

All games will be held at 7pm in Mohegan Sun Arena in Wilkes-Barre, PA.
