The 24-hour lacrosse event benefiting wounded American soldiers names global performance brand as the official Performance Apparel and Equipment Sponsor

BALTIMORE, MD (April 30, 2015)—Shootout for Soldiers has announced a partnership with the global leader in performance footwear, apparel, and equipment, naming Under Armour as the official performance apparel supplier of the Shootout for Soldiers. This news comes after Shootout for Soldiers’ announcement of their expansion to five cities this summer. This partnership stems from the commitment both organizations have to supporting our nation’s veterans.
“We’ve long admired Under Armour’s commitment to our nation’s veterans,” stated Shootout for Soldiers Founder and Director, Tyler Steinhardt. “This partnership will help maximize the impact we have in support of our country’s heroes and we are beyond excited to work with Under Armour this year.”
“Through our UA Freedom corporate initiative, Under Armour is dedicated to supporting the men and women who serve and protect our country,” said Jim Bel Bruno, Senior Category Director, Lacrosse, Under Armour. “Our partnership with Shootout for Soldiers is another facet of our commitment to raise awareness around the sacrifices these brave men and women have made through the platform of sports.”
Along with the recent expansion of Shootout for Soldiers to five cities, this partnership aims to further increase the event’s reach and impact. Proceeds from the events will benefit The Wounded Warrior Project, Army Ranger Lead the Way Fund, Gary Sinise Foundation, The Semper Fi Foundation, and Team RWB. Registration is open online at www.ShootoutForSoldiers.com for people wishing to attend the games. Events will take place in Baltimore, MD on June 17 and 18; Boston, MA on June 26 and 27; Columbus, OH on July 10 and 11; Long Island, NY on July 16 and 17; and Dana Point, CA on July 31 and August 1.
