Sneak Peek: University of Maryland Under Armour Lacrosse Gear

As we mentioned in late August Maryland lacrosse will be suited up from head-to-toe in Under Armour equipment. We have a sneak peek of the Under Armour line of equipment including the Player gloves and Maryland flag themed shaft. The Terps will have a lot of color (Red, White, Black and Gold) involved in their uniform/equipment scheme in ’12. View the exclusive images below.

Under Armour has joined forces with Vertical Lax, Inc., a leading manufacturer of lacrosse hard goods to bring state-of-the-art technology to the lacrosse field. The brand’s equipment collection includes men’s heads, handles, and gloves, men’s and boys’ arm pads and shoulder pads.

We will have more images as the week goes on. The line of equipment and protective gear comes equipped with the most advanced features in the game. All protective products feature a new revolutionary “Molded Skin” technology for reduced weight and improved flexibility without sacrificing protection. Consistent with Under Armour’s origins, the protective equipment also features a HeatGear® liner that wicks moisture away from the skin.

Lacrosse Playground

In 2009, Adam O’Neill, Harry Alford and Thomas Alford launched Lacrosse Playground as the preeminent site for lacrosse gearheads. For years Lacrosse Playground provided lacrosse fans with tutorials and tips on how to string a lacrosse head, up-close looks at the gear the top players used and sneak peeks at equipment and uniforms before they were released. More than 10 years and millions of visits later, Lacrosse Playground has relaunched with a focus on storytelling. Our mission is to provide comprehensive coverage of the latest lacrosse news, share insights into the sports betting and fantasy lacrosse world and showcase the lifestyles and personalities of the sport of lacrosse through articles, videos and podcasts.
