South Swell releases Signature Series stick

South Swell has released its first of five in a signature series of full, completely strung sticks. The retailer is working with athletes to develop their ideal pocket for a release of a series of sticks to give kids and opportunity to play with what their heroes are using on the field.

The first in the signature series is Kyle Harrison. The Kyle Harrison Signature Series Stick will be released on 12/15 and has a limited run of 50 available to consumers. The stick is a custom-strung, ready-to-play K18 II head on a 7075 Crankshaft handle. Each stick features a seal of authenticity hand-signed by Harrison.

South Swell worked with Harrison to learn more about what kind of pocket he likes and why, getting into the specifics for what works for his game. Harrison viewed samples to test and worked with South Swell on deciding on the final version of the pocket.

“This is the perfect pocket for the all around midfielder,” said Harrison. “[It has] great ball control for dodging and making plays in between the lines. Because of the high pocket, it gives you a quick release, but also has a little whip to give you a little more speed on your shot. If you’re an all around player, this is the perfect pocket for you.”
