Starz Lacrosse Is Going Global

For the third year, USA Starz is excited to announce four international lacrosse trips this summer for both men and women. Teams are filling up fast, but there are still limited spots at just about every position on each trip. With an incredible staff and exciting itineraries, they are confident that this will be the best summer of USA Starz ever.

USA Starz is done in partnership with the Starz Lacrosse Club, which is run by LXM’s Scott Hochstadt. Both programs are instrumental in growing the sport and also giving youths the chance to learn the importance of unity, strength, and character, while also getting an opportunity to attend college and see the world.

Here is an impromptu video of the Global Starz Lacrosse Club trip to Europe, summer 2008. Enjoying a little bit of history in Berlin, they decided to do wall-ball as they walked the streets with their sticks.

Go to their website, www.globalstarzlax.com, for more details. Feel free to email Rick Sheinin (co-program director) with any questions at [email protected].

Lacrosse Playground

In 2009, Adam O’Neill, Harry Alford and Thomas Alford launched Lacrosse Playground as the preeminent site for lacrosse gearheads. For years Lacrosse Playground provided lacrosse fans with tutorials and tips on how to string a lacrosse head, up-close looks at the gear the top players used and sneak peeks at equipment and uniforms before they were released. More than 10 years and millions of visits later, Lacrosse Playground has relaunched with a focus on storytelling. Our mission is to provide comprehensive coverage of the latest lacrosse news, share insights into the sports betting and fantasy lacrosse world and showcase the lifestyles and personalities of the sport of lacrosse through articles, videos and podcasts.

Great to see that just from the featured video, there are west coast players featured that are now playing at Towson, Ohio Wesleyan, Villanova, Robert Morris, manhattanville, etc. These trips seem like a good mix of MCLA – Div I players.
