What is becoming commonly referred to as a “Stanwick Pita” is really just a Pita Pocket that emphasizes what the advantages of a Pita Pocket should be. Stringings like this that use leathers instead of mesh allow the pocket to move with the ball better, generally providing a better feel. The ball can sit low for vertical cradling, high under the shooters for shooting and passing, and anywhere in between. A pocket like this is going to have a consistent release and a lot of hold, and give a much better feel for the ball coming out of the pocket.

Sorry they dont string theirs that way. This is just a pita. His sidewall is almost pulled all the way to the adjacent leather when cradling low…try again
