Sukonik named Jewish Sports Review Collegiate Lacrosse All-American

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Lehigh women’s lacrosse rising sophomore Carli Sukonik has been named to the Jewish Sports Review Collegiate Lacrosse All-America List, as recently announced. Sukonik enjoyed a standout freshman campaign, posting a team-high 41 goals, 47 points, 89 shots and 65 shots on goal. The Second Team All-Patriot League honoree finished with seven hat tricks, 10 multi-goal games and 11 multi-point games.

The honor comes from the Jewish Sports Review, which is available via subscription. Lehigh baseball senior Billy Goldman was honored by the publication a season ago.
Sukonik started all 16 games at attack, finishing fifth in the Patriot League in goals per game. She posted a career-high eight points (seven goals, one assist) and added five draw controls at American while scoring a career-high eight goals in a 17-10 rout of Binghamton.
