Norwegian lifestyle brand, SWIMS, is delighted to introduce their Spring/Summer 2012 collection. Renowned for reinventing the galosh, designer behind the brand Johan Ringdal has created a shoe to take you through the dryer seasons too! The modern and versatile SWIMS Loafer is an essential accessory for hot summer days on the beach, on a boat or strolling around the city.

The SWIMS loafer is made of water resistant rubber with nylon upper and a moulded foot bed offering complete support. The sole is non-marking with a ribbed pattern designed to maximize traction on slippery surfaces and the ventilation gills on the sides ensure great breathability and ultimate comfort. Unlike traditional loafers, water will not damage the SWIMS loafer making them the perfect all round shoe come rain or shine. The SWIMS loafer is machine washable up to 30 C°.

Following two successful seasons of the SWIMS loafer for men, the brand is excited to introduce the SWIMS loafer for women. Staying true to the brand’s philosophy of “Reinventing the Classics”, SWIMS Loafers for women are available with the penny front or laces in a range of fresh colors. To add to the feminine feel of the collection, the Almond Gold and Silver lace loafers have a unique velvet finish to create a suede look. For men, the Wave Front loafer is a new addition to the family, and will be available in Nile Blue, Navy and Black with flocking detail.

Available at select fine boutiques and retailers worldwide the SWIMS loafer has truly extended the utility and functionality of the classic loafer and is the key footwear piece to take you through any season.

And for those rainy summer days, do not forget the colorful SWIMS umbrellas with the automatic open/close function.

Enjoy the weather!
