The Atlantic Coast Conference Council of Presidents has unanimously voted to accept the University of Notre Dame as a new member. WASHINGTON, D.C. - Maryland junior Katie Schwarzmann became the third Terrapin to win the Tewaaraton Award, given annually to the top player in women's lacrosse, Thursday at the National Museum of the American Indian. Byrd Stadium is home of the Maryland Terrapins football and lacrosse teams, which compete in the Atlantic Coast Conference. It's currently under construction to make way for a new turf field.
