NOTRE DAME, Ind. – “Notre Dame Lacrosse: Inside the Walls of Arlotta,” a half-hour video broadcast featuring the Irish men’s lacrosse program, will premier at 3 p.m. EDT Saturday on NBC Sports Network. The show follows Irish coach Kevin Corrigan and his 2012 Notre Dame squad from a March 10 overtime win at Hofstra through the BIG EAST season-opening win over Rutgers on March 25—including footage of Irish wins over Denver (in three overtimes) and Ohio State. Spreading the Gospel of Lacrosse this Easter Season

It’s no surprise that two Catholic schools would collaborate on spreading the gospel of lacrosse at the end of the Easter season. Providence College was scheduled to play Big East Conference foe Notre Dame on Saturday April 7. At a coaches convention in December, Friars coach Chris Burdick spoke with Drew Stevenson, an assistant coach at Brother Rice High School, when Burdick wondered if Providence needed a practice facility to use. SMU To Consider Adding Division I Lacrosse Team

Months ago, we stated on Twitter that a big time university in the state of Texas would be adding a Division 1 lacrosse team. We had a strong reason to believe it would be TCU because they toyed with the idea of joining the Big East Conference. However, things changed, and SMU ended up joining the dominate conference.
