Minnesota– The HEADstrong Foundation is proud to welcome a newly formed Team HEADstrong playing out of Minnesota. Minnesota marks the 6th state to formally launch a HEADstrong lacrosse program this year. WASHINGTON DC, AUGUST 2, 2012 – The HEADstrong Foundation is proud to announce SCOUT by Bungalow as their newest partner in the fight against blood cancer. In conjunction with National Blood Cancer Awareness Month, SCOUT by Bungalow will release a collection of fashionable lacrosse inspired bags in September with proceeds benefitting the HEADstrong Foundation. Memphis, TN – The HEADstrong Foundation is proud to announce the creation of a newly formed Team HEADstrong playing out of Memphis, Tennessee. It is both a coincidence and a fitting tribute that Team HEADstrong Memphis will be taking the field in their signature lime green for the first time on the 27th of July at the Southern Exposure Lax Clash at Limestone College in South Carolina. Holmes, PA- The forecast this weekend was very fitting for the HEADstrong Foundation’s 3rd Annual Rivalry Games. On Saturday April 7, 2012 droves of HEADstrong supporters and lacrosse fans descended on Widener University’s athletic complex to be apart of what has become an annual Easter Saturday tradition in Delaware County. This year’s Rivalry Games drew record attendance generating over $40,000 for the HEADstrong Foundation and their relentless pursuit of defeating blood cancer, bringing the fundraising total to over $190,000 since its inception in 2010.
