ITHACA, N.Y. – In a season already full of impressive wins, Bucknell men’s lacrosse added one more highlight to its resume with a 9-8 upset over second-ranked Cornell at Schoellkopf Field on Tuesday evening. The Bison (7-1) overcame a snow delay and rallied from a one-goal deficit at halftime to win their sixth consecutive game. University of Pennsylvania Names Ryan Klipstein Newest Men’s Lacrosse Coach

PHILADELPHIA – The University of Pennsylvania’s Head Coach of men’s lacrosse, Mike Murphy, has announced the hiring of Ryan Klipstein as an assistant coach with the program.
Klipstein comes to Penn from Williams College, where he was the Ephs’ offensive coordinator and recruiting coordinator for 2011-12. Read More…

The Terps are coming to town on Saturday. It’s our senior day, the school’s springcoming, and the weather is supposed to cooperate. What better way could we as seniors ask to end our home careers other than beating Maryland at home and setting ourselves up for an at-large bid in the NCAA tournament. Of course we know it’s going to be a tough game coming at the end of the last week of classes, but who cares? Come Saturday the only thing that will matter is that all 47 guys on the roster go out to Andy Kerr and leave it all on the field. I can think of no better way to end my career here at Colgate than with this group of guys going up against an ACC powerhouse. Read More…

Going into the fourth quarter it was tied 6-6. Coach’s message to us in the huddle was, “win this minute, then the next one, and the one after that until there are zeros on the clock!” Because of Rob Grabher’s performance at the X during the second and third quarters, Bucknell came out with three poles on the face-offs and it turned into a hard-fought battle each time. Colgate to Host Patriot League Men’s Lacrosse Tournament



CENTER VALLEY, Pa. – For the second straight season, hosting responsibilities for the Patriot League Men’s Lacrosse Tournament came down to the final contest of the season between Bucknell and Colgate. A year ago, Bucknell went into Hamilton, N.Y., and picked up a victory on the road to clinch the tournament’s top seed and hosting responsibilities. The Raiders paid that back Friday night.
