Colgate to Host Patriot League Men’s Lacrosse Tournament

CENTER VALLEY, Pa. – For the second straight season, hosting responsibilities for the Patriot League Men’s Lacrosse Tournament came down to the final contest of the season between Bucknell and Colgate. A year ago, Bucknell went into Hamilton, N.Y., and picked up a victory on the road to clinch the tournament’s top seed and hosting responsibilities. The Raiders paid that back Friday night. BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Junior Dante Fantoni rifled a shot past Kyle Feeney with just 14 seconds remaining to give the #11 Lehigh men’s lacrosse team a thrilling 9-8 win over #18 Bucknell in front of a facility-record 2,096 fans on Saturday night. The Mountain Hawks (11-2, 4-1 Patriot League) continually fought back from deficits until Fantoni’s goal put Lehigh up for good. I guess I should consider that a positive thing, but I’d be lying to myself if I thought it was that easy to find personal closure in the face of defeat.
