The Canadian Lacrosse Association (CLA) announced today that forward John Grant Jr. will not be playing for Canada in the Federation of International Lacrosse (FIL) World Lacrosse Championships that begin next week in Denver, Colorado. BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Lehigh head men’s lacrosse coach Kevin Cassese will man the sidelines in Denver this Saturday, Sept. 8, when the U.S. National Team faces Canada in the “Duel in Denver.” It will mark the first time the current U.S. staff will coach together as they begin preparation for the 2014 FIL World Championships. The schedule became clear to us today. Tomorrow we must beat the Dutch for the chance to play the Welsh once more, if we win both of these games we get 9th place. If we lose to the Dutch we play the Koreans, a fight for 11th place.
