Hounds Round Out Preseason Roster in Supplemental Draft

Major League Lacrosse today held its 2013 Supplemental Draft, giving teams the opportunity to build out their 23-man protected rosters to a 40-man preseason roster. The draft consisted of 12 rounds and the Charlotte Hounds had nine picks, including the third overall. With that pick, the Hounds selected attackman Tim Desko, a 2012 graduate of Syracuse Univ. Hounds Acquire Three-Time MLL All-Star From Outlaws


CHARLOTTE, N.C. (Thursday, Sept. 13, 2012) – The Charlotte Hounds today announced a trade that will upgrade their midfield unit, including the addition of a three-time MLL All-Star. MLL to Host 2013 All-Star Game in Charlotte


BOSTON, Mass. (Thursday, July 26, 2012) – Major League Lacrosse (MLL), the premier professional outdoor lacrosse league, announced Thursday it will host the 2013 MLL All-Star Game on July 13, 2013 at the American Legion Memorial Stadium in Charlotte, N.C., according to MLL Commissioner David Gross. Cameron Lao-Gosney Signs with Charlotte of Major League Lacrosse


BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Just one week after Roman Lao-Gosney was picked up by Hamilton of Major League Lacrosse, twin brother Cameron signed with the Charlotte Hounds Monday evening. Cameron wrapped up a stellar career with 111 points (77 goals, 34 assists) while twice earning All-Patriot League distinction. Hounds Drop Second Straight, Fall 18-17 to Nationals


The Hounds (1-4) lost their second straight game, falling 18-17 to the Nationals (1-3) in front of a record crowd of 6,843 at American Legion Memorial Stadium in Charlotte. Joe Walters was named Bud Light Player of the Game for his eight point performance of four goals and four assists. ESPNU Lacrosse Fan Fest Coming To Warrior Classic

ESPNU is the home of collegiate lacrosse. In 2012, the 24-hour college sports network will feature 40 regular-season matchups, 37 men’s and three women’s games – including the crowning of six conference champions on ESPNU and ESPN3. The 2012 ESPNU Lacrosse Fan Fest features a competition to determine the best lacrosse “trickster” in Charlotte. ESPNU Warrior Classic Moving To Charlotte


The ESPNU Warrior Classic, a men’s college lacrosse doubleheader, has a new home at American Legion Memorial Stadium in Charlotte, N.C., home of Major League Lacrosse’s Charlotte Hounds. The third annual event will be played Saturday, April 14, and will feature Rutgers vs. No. 7 Syracuse in the first game at 11 a.m. ET, followed by No. 11 Hofstra vs. No. 6 North Carolina at 1:30 p.m. Both games will be televised on ESPNU.
