Nationals and Cannons to Honor Chris Sanderson

The Hamilton Nationals and Boston Cannons will honor Chris Sanderson on Saturday, July 7th before the teams face off in a Major League Lacrosse game at McMaster University. The teams will wear No. 17 Sanderson T-shirts, which include a commemorative logo created by Boston Cannons Equipment Manager Michael J. Fox. Chris Sanderson, Lacrosse Great Dies from Brain Cancer

Philly - With great sadness, the Philadelphia Wings announced that former Wings coach and player Chris Sanderson passed away today at age 38. Sanderson, who played two seasons for the Wings and served as an assistant coach from 2005 to 2011, passed away after a three-and-a-half year battle with brain cancer.
