MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. (3/3/12) – Eleven different players scored at least one goal as the Colgate men's lacrosse team blew past Robert Morris 24-14 in its third win of the season and its first road victory on Saturday afternoon. This was the most goals scored by the Raiders in a game since 1991 when Colgate defeated Army 25-8, and was the largest scoring margin in a win since 2008 when it defeated Denver 15-10 on the road. HAMILTON, N.Y. (2/25/12) – The No. 19/20 Colgate men's lacrosse team dropped its first game of the 2012 season when it fell to Dartmouth 9-6 on Saturday afternoon at Tyler's Field. Despite outshooting Dartmouth 40-27 in the game,the Raiders were unable to secure the win. HAMILTON, N.Y. (2/13/12) – Colgate men's lacrosse junior James Queeney was named the Patriot League Defensive Player of the Week for his performance in the team's 10-8 win over Bryant on Saturday. The co-captain, who receives the first PL defensive player of the week award this season, had three groundballs and one caused turnover in the game, while also holding one of Bryant's top attackmen from the 2011 season scoreless. HAMILTON, N.Y. (1/30/12) – The Colgate men's lacrosse team landed the No. 19 spot in the 2012 Nike/Inside Lacrosse Preseason Top 20 poll that was released today. The Raiders, who were picked to finish third in the Patriot League Preseason Poll, were one of two teams in the league to secure a spot in the top 20. Bucknell was ranked 15th in the same poll.
