ITHACA, N.Y. – In a season already full of impressive wins, Bucknell men’s lacrosse added one more highlight to its resume with a 9-8 upset over second-ranked Cornell at Schoellkopf Field on Tuesday evening. The Bison (7-1) overcame a snow delay and rallied from a one-goal deficit at halftime to win their sixth consecutive game. The usual suspects such as Peter Baum and Ryan Walsh were interviewed before practice, but I guess my words of wisdom from the blog have made waves, as #19 got the chance to speak in front of the cameras. The fame was short lived as we had to reshift our focus on finishing off a solid week of practice. The foundation was created in memory of George Boiardi, a former Landon student and lacrosse standout. Moran Head Coach Of Men’s Lacrosse, has announced that Paul Richards has been named the Mario St. George Boiardi ’04 Assistant Head Coach of Men’s Lacrosse, while Matt Kerwick will join the Big Red as an assistant coach for the 2013 season.
