Cornell alumnus Brad Kamedulski ’10 has been selected as a member of the first-ever Polish National Lacrosse team, which will be competing in the upcoming Federation of International Lacrosse World Championships, held from July 16-24 in Manchester, England. During his stay, Kamedulski will provide journal entries for CornellBigRed.com. Kamedulski, whose grandfather Eugene Kamedulski was a Polish war hero fighting for the Allies in World War II before immigrating to the United States in 1954, acquired dual-citizenship this spring and is one of nine Americans on the team. If you watched the Quarterfinal match up between Maryland and Notre Dame on Saturday then you, too, are probably disappointed with ESPNU’s production of the game. Repeatedly, throughout the game, ESPNU either went to a Black screen or a stationary viewing of the stats. When we, the fans, were actually able to view the game it was from a terrible angle with bad picture which made the game look like it was pulled from the ESPN Classics archives. One thing that the poor work of ESPNU helped add was suspense. Not being able to see what was going on made the pace of an otherwise dull game more exhilarating. View game photos…
When we did a Grip ‘N Rip on Max Feely back in February we knew he was a special player, but had no idea he’d end up scoring the game winning goal this past weekend to keep Cornell alive in the NCAA tourney.
