December 18, 2013 - Madlax announced a new partnership with the Dallas elite lacrosse club, Sentry, from Texas further enhancing its well-known national lacrosse all-star program and brand while helping grow the game of lacrosse nationally. Barack Obama Male Leadership Academy Fields Lacrosse Team

The Barack Obama Male Leadership Academy opened in fall 2011. Trustee Dr. Lew Blackburn recommended the school be named for the President. The creation of an all-boys school is something that some trustees, including Dr. Blackburn, had talked about since the district began an all-girls campus in 2004. DALLAS, Jan. 23, 2013 -- The Fifth Annual Patriot Cup Lacrosse Tournament returns to Dallas on Saturday, March 2, 2013, at SMU’s Ford Stadium. The Patriot Cup will showcase some of the nation’s premier collegiate and high school programs, including Big East powerhouse - Georgetown, who will face Dartmouth.
