Lakewood, N.J.- The Georgian Court University men's lacrosse program is officially open for business! Director of Athletics and Recreation Laura B. Liesman announced today that Mickey Hover has been selected as the Lions' initial head coach as GCU prepares to make its debut in the spring of 2016. Tampa Spartans comeback falls short against Lions

SAINT LEO, Fla - The University of Tampa men's lacrosse team overcame a five goal deficit but it wasn't enough as they fell to Saint Leo 8-7 in overtime Saturday night at University Field. With this win the Lions improve to 2-1 overall and 1-1 in the Deep South Conference, while the Spartans fall to 2-2 overall and 2-1 in conference play. WASHINGTON, DC – University of the District of Columbia Director of Intercollegiate Athletics, Patricia Thomas, has announced the hiring of Scott Urick as the first ever Head Men's Lacrosse Coach. Urick comes to the University of the District of Columbia after 11 years as an Assistant Coach at Georgetown University where he helped lead the Hoyas to six NCAA Tournament Quarterfinal appearances. Tampa to Host Deep South Conference Semi Finals as Tournament Schedule Released

WINGATE, N.C.-The field has been set for the 2012 Deep South Conference Tournament, which will begin Tuesday night. The league is divided into North and South regions for the tournament. Tampa will be the number one seed in the South, while Mars Hill earns the top seed in the North.
