Currently the team competes in both the NCAA Pilgrim League and New England Collegiate Conference while getting set to enter its fourth year of existence. The No. 1 Salisbury University men's lacrosse team kept its season alive on Wednesday night and will advance to an NCAA Division III tournament semifinal game after defeating Cabrini College 14-4 in a quarterfinal game at Sea Gull Stadium. The Birmingham-Southern men's lacrosse team made history this week, winning its first SCAC Championship by defeating Colorado College, 8-5, in Panther Stadium. The Panthers move to 14-4 on the year, while the Tigers fall to 11-3. BSC will receive the SCAC's automatic bid to the NCAA National Championship, which begins Wednesday, May 9. Read More...

BEREA, OHIO -- Baldwin-Wallace College has selected Jason Tarnow as its first-ever men's lacrosse coach. He was selected after a national search and will officially begin his duties on February 1, 2012. B-W announced in October at its Board of Trustees meeting that lacrosse would be added as one of its 23 varsity sports. The Yellow Jackets will compete as an intercollegiate sport in 2012-13 and will compete their first full varsity schedule in the spring of 2014. Read More...
Ferris "Tommy" Thomsen Jr., 80, former head lacrosse coach at Denison University for 25 years (1966-1990) died on Jan. 2, 2012. One of the pioneers of the sport, Thomsen's success at Denison contributed greatly to the spread of lacrosse into the Midwest. In 25 seasons as the head coach of the men's lacrosse program at Denison he finished with a career record of 255-97 and a winning percentage of .724. Read More...
The University of Dubuque announces the appointment of Jake Olsen as head men's lacrosse coach and Offensive Coordinator in football for the Spartans. Olsen will lead the Spartans in their inaugural season of lacrosse in 2014.
