The No. 1 Salisbury University men's lacrosse team kept its season alive on Wednesday night and will advance to an NCAA Division III tournament semifinal game after defeating Cabrini College 14-4 in a quarterfinal game at Sea Gull Stadium. Birmingham-Southern Wins 2012 SCAC Men’s Lacrosse Championship

The Birmingham-Southern men's lacrosse team made history this week, winning its first SCAC Championship by defeating Colorado College, 8-5, in Panther Stadium. Salisbury Standout Jason Tarnow Named First Men’s Lacrosse Head Coach For Baldwin-Wallace

BEREA, OHIO -- Baldwin-Wallace College has selected Jason Tarnow as its first-ever men's lacrosse coach. He was selected after a national search and will officially begin his duties on February 1, 2012. B-W announced in October at its Board of Trustees meeting that lacrosse would be added as one of its 23 varsity sports. Ferris "Tommy" Thomsen Jr., 80, former head lacrosse coach at Denison University for 25 years (1966-1990) died on Jan. 2, 2012. One of the pioneers of the sport, Thomsen's success at Denison contributed greatly to the spread of lacrosse into the Midwest. The University of Dubuque announces the appointment of Jake Olsen as head men's lacrosse coach and Offensive Coordinator in football for the Spartans. Olsen will lead the Spartans in their inaugural season of lacrosse in 2014.
