NCAA Division I Transfers Beginning to Eye Tampa as Better Option



TAMPA, Fla. – The University of Tampa has announced the addition of Johns Hopkins attacker Mike Morris and Hofstra attacker Jake Rooney to it men’s lacrosse program. Johns Hopkins attackman Mike Morris and Hofstra attackman Jake Rooney have decided to transfer and continue their playing careers at the University of Tampa, with both enrolled at UT and eligible for competition. CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – In severe to moderate rainy conditions, the No. 6 Virginia Cavaliers (4-0) used six goals from Mark Cockerton and five points from Rob Emery and Nick O’Reilly to grab an 18-11 triumph over the Mount St. Mary’s Mountaineers (2-2), at the UHall Turf Field on Tuesday evening.
