The 16-team bracket for the 2013 NCAA Division I Men’s Lacrosse Championship Presented by Northwestern Mutual was unveiled exclusively Sunday on ESPNU with Syracuse earning the No. 1 seed in the field. Tournament play begins with first-round action Saturday, May 11, featuring Lehigh at No. 5 seed North Carolina at noon ET on ESPN2. CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – In severe to moderate rainy conditions, the No. 6 Virginia Cavaliers (4-0) used six goals from Mark Cockerton and five points from Rob Emery and Nick O’Reilly to grab an 18-11 triumph over the Mount St. Mary’s Mountaineers (2-2), at the UHall Turf Field on Tuesday evening. AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. – The #8/12 Lehigh men’s lacrosse team wrapped up a tough trip to Colorado on Sunday with a 15-10 defeat at a surging Air Force squad. INDIANAPOLIS – The NCAA Division I Men’s Lacrosse Committee announced the field for its championship tournament. The Division I semifinal and championship games, and the Division II and III championship games, will be held at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Mass., May 26-28.
