Long Island City, NY – August 18, 2010 – Maverik Lacrosse today announced that it will be donating equipment to CityLax Inc. and sponsoring the Second Annual CityLax Summer Shootout Charity Lacrosse Tournament on Saturday, August 21st in Southampton, NY. “Lacrosse is a tight knit community and its only through the support of companies like Maverik that we have been able to help grow the sport of lacrosse in the New York City public school system from 6 schools in 2005 to 30 boys and girls teams currently in the NYC PSAL,” said Mat Levine, CEO and President of CityLax.
