DU Men’s Lacrosse to Join BIG EAST for 2014 Season

DENVER – The University of Denver men’s lacrosse team will move to the BIG EAST Conference for immediate competition for the 2014 season, it was announced today. DENVER – Junior Eric Law (Centennial, Colo.) led the University of Denver men’s lacrosse team with four goals and one assist as the Pioneers (1-1) claimed a 17-5 victory over Michigan (0-3) in the second game of the 12th Annual DU Face-Off Classic in front of a sell-out crowd of 2,191 at Peter Barton Lacrosse Stadium on Saturday.The win marks the 300th victory for head coach Bill Tierney, who becomes the fifth head coach to win 300 wins.
