#8 Duke Holds Off Late Brown Rally, 9-8


Durham, NC – Brown’s furious fourth quarter rally came up a goal short after a barrage of shots in the game’s final seconds as the Bears dropped a 9-8 decision to eighth-ranked Duke Tuesday afternoon at Koskinen Stedium. The Bears, now 3-4 on the season, outshot the Blue Devils (8-3) by a 15-4 margin in the fourth quarter, and 37-29 overall. Read More…

The Notre Dame men’s lacrosse team scored seven unanswered goals en route to a 7-3 season-opening victory over Duke this weekend at Arlotta Stadium. The Fighting Irish have won a program-record 10 straight season openers. Senior midfielder Max Pfeifer tallied two goals and two assists for the Irish, while sophomore midfielder Jim Marlatt scored two goals in his collegiate debut. Read More…
