Los Angeles, CA (March 12, 2013) – FOX Sports Media Group (FSMG) today announced a new multi-year television agreement with ECAC Lacrosse. The NCAA Division I conference includes Air Force, Bellarmine, Denver, Fairfield, Hobart, Loyola University Maryland, Ohio State and Michigan. This season, FOX Sports Networks (FSN) will televise the ECAC Lacrosse semifinals on Thursday, May 2 (5:00 PM ET and 8:00 PM ET) and finals on Saturday, May 4 (4:00 PM ET) live from Hobart College. So the past two weeks have been pretty eventful for the Fairfield Lax team. Two weeks ago we had the game, well the game I still must admit I think about every day, versus Loyola. So, I was kind of MIA last week with my blog and sorry about that, but wasn’t really in the blogging mood after a loss. So yeah, we lost our first game of the year vs. Colgate two weeks ago, and a loss is never good but it’s something we kind of needed. It got us refocused on the little things we lost sight of and got us that much more motivated for the rest of the year. JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The No. 5 University of Denver men’s lacrosse team fell 10-9 to the Ohio State Buckeyes on Sunday afternoon at EverBank Field, home to the NFL’s Jacksonville Jaguars, in the first game of the Moe’s Southwest Grill Classic, hosted by Jacksonville University. What’s up everyone?? Charlie Cipriano here from Fairfield U, and yep it looks like I was the chosen one to blog for our team throughout this season (luckily for all of you). A little bit about myself, I’m a senior captain and goaltender here at Fairfield, born and raised on the good old Long Island, went to the mecca – Herricks High School, and was recently drafted by the Denver Outlaws in this past January’s draft which is pretty cool.
