Mass Mesh 10 Diamond Review

By Lacrosse Playground | December 10, 2012 |
So it seems these days there’s a new wax mesh popping up every other month. Most I've felt are way too sticky and leave your hands feeling like you poured some Elmer’s over your hands. Mass mesh is now in my top two wax meshes for this reason, it doesn't feel like super glue, it’s not expensive and it definitely helps against water. I was excited to try this stuff out and really happy that I did now. Read More...

Easton Stealth Core Shaft Review

By Lacrosse Playground | December 4, 2012 |
Easton’s strength in the lacrosse world since they began moving into the sport has always been their shafts. They provide solid shafts with grip for a price that very few can compete with. The Stealth Core handle continues in this path being the first 7050 handle to have a diamond style grip. Easton promises to grab a lot of attention with this mid priced handle comparable to a Sabre or F22 with one of the most popular grips on the market. Read More...

MoGo Sport Orange Flavored Mouthguard Review

By Lacrosse Playground | November 19, 2012 |
Yep it’s official I’m doing a review on a mouthguard, as a men’s league player where it’s not required but definitely a great idea. Well for all you younger players you should always wear a mouth guard it’s the best thing to protect you from a concussion and yeah they are nasty, uncomfortable, and you have to mold them….until now for the most part. Easton Stealth Core Gloves Review

By Lacrosse Playground | November 13, 2012 |
Easton hit the market last year with gloves and really struggled from what I saw. This year they came out with a lower priced version of the Stealth glove called the Stealth Core and they really took all the feedback and made huge improvements with this years model. I got to try these out this week in my box men’s game that got really rough and really put these gloves through their paces competing against my normal gloves. Read More...

Warrior Burn Arm Pads Review

By Lacrosse Playground | November 9, 2012 |
Well Warrior went for the whole deal with the Burn line including the midfield arm pads. These arm pads made me slightly skeptical but more than impressed. Those looking for a good arm pad for a reasonable price will be extremely happy. Read More...

Warrior Burn Shoulder Pads Review

By Lacrosse Playground | November 5, 2012 |
These shoulder pads are the continuation of the Hitman line and one that was thoroughly unexpected in the direction Warrior has taken. They’re all white and largely changed cut. I have had the Hitman 2.0’s for over 10 years and never needed a different shoulder pad or found one that made me want to change, these may be the pad we’ll see. Read More...

Karmada Lacrosse Shaft Review

By Lacrosse Playground | September 13, 2012 |
The Karmada Lacrosse S-thirty shaft with True Temper technology is the perfect example of what a great composite shaft should be like. Its list of technical specs is impressive (180 grams, 3X as strong as a titanium shaft), but it's the feel of the shaft that totally sets this stick apart from comparable products on the market today. Gear Review: 20D Goalie Throne Mesh

By Lacrosse Playground | July 30, 2012 |
My first impressions of the mesh before I even opened the packaging was that it was very nice vibrantly colored not dulled like other wax treated mesh. The packaging was very professional and not just a piece of mesh in a sandwich bag. It was in packaging similar to what the kits from STX and Warrior are packaged in. Read More...
