Five Duke Men’s Lacrosse Contests to be Broadcast by ESPN

DURHAM, N.C.-The Duke University men’s lacrosse team will have five of its regular season games broadcast by the ESPN family of networks, ESPN announced. ESPN’s Playoff Coverage Legitimizes Lacrosse

LaxMagazine.com’s Matt DaSilva wrote an emotional (at least for me) piece about ESPN’s lacrosse coverage this post-season. DaSilva weaves in-and-out of his piece detailing not only lacrosse’s TV coverage progression, but also how far lacrosse announcing has come. Years ago, we only knew two names calling the game from the booth.

The game is tomorrow. If you don’t know what game I’m talking about, then you better ask somebody. UVA heads to the dome Friday night to take on the Orange at 6pm. The UVA seniors have only lost six games in their career together, three of them coming from the Orange.
