Fairfield to Join CAA in Men’s Lacrosse in 2015



RICHMOND, Va. (June 18, 2013) – The Colonial Athletic Association announced on Tuesday that the Fairfield University men’s lacrosse program will join the CAA as an associate member. The Stags will begin CAA competition in 2015 with the University of Delaware, Drexel University, Hofstra University, the University of Massachusetts, St. Joseph’s University and Towson University. Acton Scores 80 yard Snipe As The Greyhounds Go On To Win ECAC Championship

DENVER – Loyola University Maryland used an 8-1 run that spanned three quarters to take control of the ECAC Championship Game, and the third-ranked Greyhounds defeated No. 16 Fairfield University, 14-7, to claim the league crown at Peter Barton Lacrosse Stadium. The Greyhounds set a school record in the process, winning their 14th game of the season. They will enter the NCAA Championships with a 14-1 record. Read More…
