(July 15, 2012) – ELEV|8 Sports Institute, an elite athletic developmental center based in Delray Beach, Fla., announced today the unveiling of their world-class lacrosse training program. The multi-sport training center has already been offering training excellence in baseball and basketball, and is now expanding into one of the fastest growing youth sports in the country, lacrosse. CORAL GABLES, Fla. –– For the first time in school history, the No. 25 Palm Beach Atlantic Sailfish defeated the Miami Hurricanes (1-12). Bradenton, Fla. (April 4, 2012) – On the heels of announcing the start of a full-time boarding program for lacrosse, the IMG Lacrosse Academy has announced it will host the 2012 Sunshine Cup, June 23-24, on the campus of IMG Academies. This annual event, which is in its sixth year, is part of the Florida United Lacrosse Cup (FULC) series and is expected to feature more than 60 teams from around the state and throughout the Southeast region of the country. Gainesville, FL - The No. 3 recruiting class in the nation justified its high rank this evening, as the Gators’ newcomers combined for 12 goals in their 17-2 rout of the England National Team. This past weekend we took our talents to South Beach at the Amelia Earhart Park for the annual Bump & Grind Miami Lacrosse Tournament sponsored by Lacrosse Wear. The 2012 Tournament played host to 12 Men's Elite Teams, six Men's Masters 33+, and four Women's teams.
