Gait Saber Head


New from Gait is the Saber head. The saber features a stiff structure built for all areas of the field. Included is a multi-hole string system for custom pocket placement. The narrow scoop area aids for added accuracy and velocity. Legal for all play, but recommended for Junior High through College.

Max McCool’s Gait Shockwave strung with traditional leathers

Max McCool is Lacrosse Playground’s resident stick doctor. Over the past year he’s shown you a variety of stringing and dye jobs. Now it’s time to see what he uses. McCool has been using the Gait Shockwave on and off since high school. McCool, who now plays club ball in the DC area, took a twist on a traditional string job by combining elements of the Heat Turtle and the Doerr pockets to make a pocket with strong hold that has held up for him this spring.

Gait Names Grassroots Marketing Manager


Gait Lacrosse, a division of Jarden Inc. that includes sporting goods brands such as Rawlings, Worth, Miken, JT Sports, Licensed Products and deBeer, said Bryan Bendig has joined the Gait lacrosse team as the Grassroots Marketing Manager. Bendig will report to Ren Petinelli, business director, for deBeer/Gait. Bendig will be responsible for the Gait Grass Roots Program nationwide.
