Army’s Garrett Thul Breaks All-Time Goals Record In 12-1 Win Over Michigan; More D1 Results


MIAMI, Fla. – Senior attackman Garrett Thul led all players with seven goals en route to breaking Army’s all-time goals record in a 12-1 win over Michigan on Saturday night. Playing in the marquee game of the second Orange Bowl Lacrosse Classic at Sun Life Stadium, Thul’s effort brought his career total to 141 career goals and broke Scott Finlay’s mark, which was set from 1975-78. WEST POINT, N.Y. – Junior attackman Garrett Thul exploded for a game-high five goals and Army outscored Navy 3-0 in the fourth quarter as the Black Knights clinched a Patriot League Tournament berth with a 9-6 victory over the visiting Midshipmen. Army’s Garrett Thul Registers 100th Career Point

WEST POINT, N.Y. – Junior attackman Garrett Thul registered his 100th career point, 17 different players scored at least one point and the Army lacrosse team registered its most goals since 1991 in a 24-7 rout of visiting Wagner on Wednesday afternoon at Michie Stadium. Army (1-1) scored just seven seconds into the contest, led 15-2 at halftime and dominated Wagner (0-1) in the Seahawks’ season opener. Read More…
