Harvard Women’s Lacrosse Adds Eight Newcomers for 2012-13

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The Harvard women’s lacrosse team has added eight members from the class of 2016 for the upcoming season. Lisa Miller, the head coach for Crimson women’s lacrosse, has recruited players from five different states. The incoming freshman comprise of two attackers, three midfielders, one midfielder/attacker, one midfielder/defense and one defender. Miller returns 21 of 28 players from last season’s team that went 9-7 and 5-2 in the Ivy League. No. 2/3 Massachusetts Holds Off Harvard Men’s Lacrosse

AMHERST, Mass. – Alex White scored a career-high three goals, and Kevin Vaughan recorded three assists, but the Harvard men’s lacrosse team fell on the road at No. 2/3 Massachusetts by a score of 16-8 Tuesday evening. Will Walker added two goals and an assist for the Crimson, which sees its overall record slip to 4-4. White also won 6-of-11 faceoffs and collected five ground balls, while Keegan Michel went 6-of-14 in faceoff chances. Holy Cross Men’s Lacrosse Falls to #15 Harvard, 14-9

WORCESTER, Mass. – Junior captain James Kennedy (Summit, N.J.) led the Crusaders with two goals and an assist for three points as the Holy Cross men’s lacrosse team was defeated by No. 15 Harvard, 14-9, on Tuesday afternoon in non-conference action in the Crusaders’ home-opener at Holy Cross Field.
