Rockhurst High School Joins Lacrosse Association of Kansas City


Rockhurst has competed for 18 seasons in the Missouri Scholastic Lacrosse Association (MSLA), which until LAKC formed last year was the only association in the region. The other 12 Division 1 MSLA teams are all located in the St. Louis metropolitan area. Rockhurst won the MSLA championship five times and took second place three times. Read More…

NYC tops Hudson Valley to capture Empire State Cup


SYRACUSE, NY — New York City topped previously undefeated Hudson Valley, 10-8, to win the 2012 Empire State Cup lacrosse event at Central Square Stadium. The game was tied 3-3 in the first half, but New York City pulled away with four straight goals and never looked back. Michael Rastivo, who was named the tournament’s Most Outstanding Player, led all scorers in the gold medal game with three goals and one assist. Read More…

Empire State Cup Lacrosse Tournament Updates and Highlights


SYRACUSE, NY — The Hudson Valley and New York City regions are off to hot starts, as the first ever Empire State Cup lacrosse event is underway at Central Square Stadium outside of Syracuse, New York. The two teams, who are 2-0 in round-robin play, will meet on Friday at 12:30 PM as part of a busy schedule; each team will play three games to finalize Saturday’s playoff seeds. Read More…

Ex-Lacrosse Coach Arrested For Accusing Replacement Of Sexual Misconduct

Ex-lacrosse coach, Tim Udinski, has been arrested on stalking and harassment charges. The charges stem from Udinski making false accusations against his replacement as well as other officials at Lansdale Catholic High School in Philadelphia. Ticked off about being fired, Udinski sent seven emails reporting abuse to the Archdiocese of Philadelphia. In these anonymous emails, he deliberately and falsely claimed that both the Lansdale Catholic football and lacrosse coaches were engaged in sexual solicitation of players on their respective teams. 2012 Top High School Lacrosse Players Selected for ESPNHS Warrior 40 Roster


A panel of lacrosse experts and coaches selected 40 of the nation’s top high school lacrosse players to compete in the 2012 ESPNHS Warrior 40 Competition. The third annual Warrior 40 Competition, operated by ESPNHS, will be held at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park in Commerce City, Colo., August 13-15. 2012 Tri-State National Summer Lacrosse Festival Set to Welcome 358 Teams and 7500 Players This Weekend

Hightstown, NJ – July 5, 2012 – This weekend, Tri- State Lacrosse welcomes 358 high school and youth lacrosse teams from across the country to compete in the 12th annual Tri- State National Summer Lacrosse Festival at Mercer Country Park. Under Armour All-American Lacrosse Classic: Players To Keep An Eye On

Players wore new Under Armour lacrosse equipment.

Saturday night the best players in the country took part in the Under Armour All-American Lacrosse Classic at 8pm in Johnny Unitas Stadium on the campus of Towson University. In a star-studded game it was no surprise it would come down to the very end to determine the winner. The South would hold on to win, 12-11. The MVP of the game was Gordie Koerber of the South Team (Baltimore, Md./Gilman/Denver). However, there were a few other players who stood out to the LPG staff. Read More…
