HAMILTON, N.Y. (3/6/12) – The Colgate men’s lacrosse team’s offense came alive once again on Tuesday afternoon as the team soared past Hobart 18-8 on Tuesday afternoon in their fourth win of the season. This was the most goals the Raiders have scored against Hobart since the teams first met in 1921. Hobart alumus Tim Clark ’87 is known by many throughout Indiana for his passion and community service with youth in the sport of lacrosse. Since his arrival 12 years ago at the NCAA national office, Tim co-founded the Indiana Youth Lacrosse Association and spearheaded the development of several Indiana lacrosse programs. Tim was recently recognized for his outstanding service to youth when he received the 2011 Rev. Charles Williams Award presented by the Indiana Sports Corporation and Indiana Black Expo. Read More…

Hobart College Lacrosse Head Coach T.W. Johnson recently announced the team captains for the 2012 season. Seniors Matt Campbell, Bobby Dattilo, Ryan Korn, and Sam Miller and junior Jake Silberlicht will lead the Statesmen in their 110th varsity season. “It’s an honor to announce our captains for the 2012 season,” Johnson said. “Sam, Bobby, Matt, Jake, and Ryan represent what it means to be a Hobart Statesman and I’m more than confident in their ability to lead this year’s team.” Read More…
