Spreading the Gospel of Lacrosse this Easter Season

It’s no surprise that two Catholic schools would collaborate on spreading the gospel of lacrosse at the end of the Easter season. Providence College was scheduled to play Big East Conference foe Notre Dame on Saturday April 7. At a coaches convention in December, Friars coach Chris Burdick spoke with Drew Stevenson, an assistant coach at Brother Rice High School, when Burdick wondered if Providence needed a practice facility to use. A New Beginning Part 1: Our Story

Everyone’s heard the classic story of the underdog. Well that’s us, The Schaumburg High School lacrosse team. After finishing dead last in the state of Illinois’s class A. Finishing the season 3-13 and being a joke to every other school. We sucked and we knew it, we even had our coach tell us mid-season this would be his last year coaching us.
