The great fans of the National Lacrosse League will once again come together this summer to play the game they love, while raising money for charity. The 2012 Fann Cup, a lacrosse tournament of teams comprised of fans of the NLL, will be played on Saturday, July 28th in Minneapolis/St. Paul suburb of Blaine, Minnesota. Colorado Mammoth forward John Grant Jr. set the National Lacrosse League’s single-season scoring record with a fourth-quarter goal on Saturday, April 28 against the Minnesota Swarm. Own this piece of history, the actual ball he scored the goal with. The Professional Lacrosse League is a new pro indoor league that will start at the end of September 2012, in four cities. There will be two teams in Pennsylvania (cities to be announced soon), a team in Charlotte, North Carolina, and a team in Jacksonville, Florida. Each team’s roster will be made up of the best professional US lacrosse players, many who play in the premier outdoor league, Major League Lacrosse, during their summer season. Read More…
