RAMAT GAN, ISRAEL — The International Sports Committee has formally approved the addition of men’s open lacrosse as an exhibition sport in the 2013 Maccabiah Games. ISTANBUL, TURKEY — The Israel men’s national lacrosse team made their international debut on Friday, topping Turkey, 13-9, at Sadi Gülçelik Sports Center on Friday. Tel Aviv’s Mike Grosz scored the first goal in program history just three minutes into the match, and European official Henning Schmidt reacted by halting play to present the ball to Israel head coach Bill Beroza. Israel Lacrosse Announces Bonnie Rosen and Peter Friedensohn as Associate Head Coaches

JERUSALEM, ISRAEL — Israel Lacrosse has announced Bonnie Rosen and Peter Friedensohn as Associate Head Coaches for the women’s national team that will compete in the 2012 European Lacrosse Festival in Amsterdam this June. Both Rosen and Friedensohn will also serve in leadership roles with Israel Lacrosse to plan and prepare teams for championship play at the 2013 FIL Women’s Lacrosse World Cup in Oshawa, Canada, and the 2015 FIL U-19 Women’s World Championship in Edinburgh, Scotland. Israel Lacrosse names coaching staff for 2012 European Championsh​ips

JERUSALEM, ISRAEL — Israel Lacrosse has announced the coaching staff for the men’s national team that will debut in exhibition play at the 2012 European Lacrosse Championships in Amsterdam. Jon Barocas, Pete Ginnegar and Mark Greenberg will serve as assistant coaches, joining head coach Bill Beroza on the blue-and-white’s bench. Chaka Bainbridge was tabbed Director of Player Personnel.
