NOTRE DAME, Ind. – With five first-place votes, the University of Notre Dame was selected as the favorite to win the 2013 BIG EAST men’s lacrosse championship in a poll by the league’s seven head coaches, who were not permitted to vote for their own programs. John Kemp, a fellow Georgetown Prep alum, recently contacted me about doing a couple of new dyes for his goalie heads. This was the first. He wanted one either completely or mostly Green with clovers on it and his last name. I made sure these clovers were large and could be seen from a distance. I also included his name in cursive near the bottom of the head and “Irish” written across the top. Read More…

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The No. 6 Notre Dame men’s lacrosse team captured an 8-7 win over Ohio State on Wednesday afternoon at Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium. Senior midfielder Max Pfeifer scored two goals for the Fighting Irish, while junior goalie John Kemp made 17 saves. Read More…
