It was a challenge for everyone to wake up an hour earlier than the rest of the Corps and condition, especially after coming back from leave. But with roughly a month to go before we hit the road and head down to Georgia to face Kennesaw State and SCAD I think everyone was feeling the urgency to get going. Read More...

Colgate Men’s Lacrosse 2012 Player Blog: American Reunion

By Lacrosse Playground | April 11, 2012 |
When "Danza Kuduro" came on in the locker room yesterday around 4 pm, it was one of the best feelings any of us have had so far this season. We had just knocked off the #7 team in the country, and taken down the #1 defense. It didn’t stem from just showing up on Saturday, but from all the hard work we put in during the week leading up to it. Read More...

So, I was kind of MIA last week with my blog and sorry about that, but wasn't really in the blogging mood after a loss. From there I hit the ground running and started training with and developing strong friendships with my new teammates. The strong chemistry we were building off the field began to directly correlate with our budding chemistry on the field. Read More...

By Lacrosse Playground | February 22, 2012 |
The first page of the packet (usually an overview of the game and inspiration) had a quote from Vince Lombardi, “Once a man has made a commitment to a way of life, he puts the greatest strength in the world behind him. It’s something we call heart power. Once a man has made this commitment,
nothing will stop him short of success.” This game would be about our heart power and not letting anything get in our way from winning the game. Read More...

Detroit Mercy Men’s Lacrosse 2012 Player Blog, Behind the Scenes

By Lacrosse Playground | February 17, 2012 |
Sunday’s game was quite the experience. A lot of hard work behind the scenes was put into it and I would like to thank coach Kolon for his contributions. It was quite the turn around after a tough loss to Ohio State, having to play one of the most hyped games of our season two days later. Read More...
