BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Lehigh Smith Family Head Lacrosse Coach Kevin Cassese announced the team's incoming class of 2017 on Wednesday, which includes 11 standouts across several states and positions. The group enters Lehigh this fall looking to help replace a stellar senior class that featured 14 total members and several All-Americans, All-Patriot League Players and Major League Lacrosse draftees. BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Lehigh rising juniors Patrick Corbett and Dan Taylor recently wrapped up highly successful summers playing indoor (box) lacrosse in their native Canada. Corbett finished the summer with 62 points for the Burlington Chiefs of the Ontario Junior A Lacrosse League. Meanwhile, Taylor led the Alberta Jr. League in scoring for both the regular season and playoffs as his Mountaineers advanced all the way to Game 7 of the Championship Round. Read More...

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Following a stellar collegiate career, Lehigh senior David DiMaria will join his Major League Lacrosse team (Boston) on Saturday and suit up for its game against the Bayhawks. Lehigh alums Cameron and Roman Lao-Gosney are also enjoying early-season success for the Hamilton Nationals. DiMaria was selected in the sixth round (46th overall) by the Cannons in January’s Major League Lacrosse draft. He followed with his most impressive collegiate season, posting career highs in goals (33), assists (40) and points (73). The assist total was fourth in Patriot League history for a single season while his 73 points led the league and were fifth most all-time. Read More...

He is one of only 25 players nationally named a nominee for the sport’s highest honor. DiMaria, senior Dante Fantoni and sophomore Matt Poillon were originally named to the watch list in February.
