Recently graduated Lehigh women’s lacrosse standout Leigh Ann Torcivia impressed for the North in the annual IWLCA North-South Game played Saturday at the United Sports Training Center in Downingtown, Pa. Roman Lao-Gosney Picked Up By Hamilton Nationals

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Former Lehigh midfielder Roman Lao-Gosney was claimed by the Hamilton Nationals Wednesday as part of the Major League Lacrosse Waiver Wire. Lao-Gosney enjoyed a stellar senior season, earning Third Team All-America honors after posting a career-high 26 points (20 goals, six assists). Lao-Gosneys Make Movie Debut in Crooked Arrows Premiering Tonight

Lehigh midfielders Cameron and Roman Lao-Gosney played key roles in the lacrosse movie Crooked Arrows, which opens in select theatres on Friday (May 18). The twins were both part of the Coventry team, the prep school which the Crooked Arrows play. Senior Leigh Ann Torcivia wanted to play soccer in college; playing lacrosse wasn’t even in her mind. Ultimately, the New Jersey native came to Lehigh, which has deep family routes. Her aunt Bonnie, a former Lehigh lacrosse and field hockey player herself, was a big influence in Leigh Ann even playing lacrosse, never mind developing into an All-Patriot League player. Read More…
