Sophomore women’s lacrosse player Lauren Willcox had anything but a typical winter break as she spent the last week of her vacation time on a medical service trip to Cusco, Peru. From Jan. 4-12, Willcox joined a group of student members of the Lehigh University American Medical Student Association (LUAMSA) on a trip to gain clinical volunteer experience and learn about healthcare in another country. BETHLEHEM, Pa. - The Lehigh men’s lacrosse team hosted its sixth annual Community Night on Friday, which saw nearly 100 youngsters come out and learn from the defending Patriot League Champion Mountain Hawks. Lehigh women’s lacrosse senior Anna Patterson had the experience of a lifetime this summer, following in the footsteps of fellow Mountain Hawks Erica Prosser (women's basketball), Jessica Miller (field hockey), Angelo DiGiacinto (men's swimming) and Liz Lucas (softball) who all traveled abroad with SALSC over the past three years.
