We have received an exclusive scoop about the Long Island Lizards of Major League Lacrosse. The pictures we’ve received display Neon Green and Black colorways. I’d liken it to the colors of the Seattle Seahawks with the exception of Black. Also, one logo contains “New York.” One might propose a name change! Mark Matthews does it again. An incredible one-handed pass to Chris Bocklet, who scores his 6th goal of the game. That’s right, 6th goal. Denver at one point was down 12-3, and came back to win 13-12. Chris Bocklet had six of Denver’s 13 goals. Matthews and Bocklet were a big part of the historical comeback, with Matthews dialing up assists and Bocklet drilling goals. To comeback, Denver went on a 10-0 goal scoring run. Long Island Lizards’ Greg Gurenlian is donating salary earned during the Major League Lacrosse playoffs to Tim Goettelmann’s organization, Monster’s Kids. Monster’s Kids helps children in need. In addition to Gurenlian donating his money earned, people are encouraged to pledge an amount of money for every face-off he wins. Monday July 23, 2012 Major League Lacrosse announced that Lizards Attackman Tommy Palasek was named Cascade Rookie of the Week after his six goal and one assist performance against the Hamilton Nationals. The award is Palasek’s second of the year, the previous coming after a four goal performance after his four goal performance against the Ohio Machine in week 7. Read More…
